Haynesworth was a contract year player that had effort problems his whole careeer and didn’t do a damn thing after getting paid.

Even after Suh got his payday, he still played as one of the top 3 DL in the league, big difference.

I would say Mariota and Lewan combined will cost us in the ballpark of $35 million a year. Butler avarages out at 12.2 million a year, Ryan will cost 9.5 million in 2019, Casey will cost 12.7 million in 2019. That's $69.4 million right there on 5 guys.

 

You know what really stinks? Going 0-16 and having $80 million in cap room. Being the Browns isn't good.

Having good players is a good thing. Being in a position of having to make tough decisions on who to pay and who to let go is a good thing.
