Suh is a force on the field. Sometimes good and then he gets in his feelings and ends up hurting the team. Not to mention he will cost a lot more than we need to pay.No thanks.

$5M is legit starter money. We just gave a bunch of guys $5M/yr deals

 

I never get this from fans. So concerned about somebody else's money.

 

We got exactly what I expected out of Sly, nothing. Dude almost lost his job to an undrafted free agent(Woods) and weak Austin Johnson.

 

Name the number of legit starters in the league making $5M, especially on the defensive line. Those guys get paid. Williams was average, he wasn't nearly as bad as people make him out to be, which is what you should expect for $5M.

 

But who cares? It was a player with potential that hadn’t lived up to it. Maybe a change of scenery could do the trick. So you bring him in, give him a shot, and see what happens. Now we cut him. No harm no faul. It’s not like that $5 mil was the difference needed to bring someone else in. What good would it have been to have it sitting unused? I’d rather roll the dice. Delanie Walker wasn’t a pro bowler when we brought him in. You win some you lose some.

I’ve said it before. I’d rather see the organization try something and get it wrong, than do nothing. All the complaining about Sly was for nothing. He played a bit, out run D was great, and now he’s cut. What’s the big deal??
