Titans to Sign RB Dion Lewis

    God, RB is the easiest position to draft, and we love to mess it up. Sankey, Ringer, That kid from Arizona that Blane bishop calls “runs to darkness” (Henry? Brown? I forget his useless name). Hell, lenwhale was one of our successes for gods sake.

    A nice change of pace back. Like this signing a lot. Not sure he should take the starting reigns away from Henry.

    Henry deserves to get the start, so i see the split going something like 60-40 with Henry getting most of the carries.

    If Henry remains as one-dimensional as he's been his first two years we're going to see stacked boxes every time he's in the game....just like this season.

    This whole idea that Henry can play on the first two downs and Lewis will come in on passing downs is craziness. Every down is a passing down in the league right now.

    Same could be said when George played. Teams knew he was getting the rock on early downs yet he managed to gash them for 4-5 yards and setup manageable 3rd down situations

    1. Eddie George wasn't one-dimensional. The entire offense ran through him. He was much more Demarco Murray than Derrick Henry.

    2. George was a solid pass protector and receiver out of the backfield.

    So, no, the same could not be said for Eddie George. Just because they're both tall doesn't mean they're the same kind of player.

    One would hope we will not be in a jumbo set this year and he can audible into something that makes sense. That was not often the case last season.

    Henry has stated that hes working on fast twitch exercises so we will see if he stays that way, plus Henry has been getting better and better so id like to see him actually start in year 3 and see what he can do. Lewis will be some good insurace if Henry just doesnt fit the new offense.

    I wouldn’t even mind seeing some two back sets. Can motion Lewis into the slot. Run options either way. Sweeps either way. Lots of options.
