You guys are Luck haters. If he had a good coach or any sembalnce of a offensive line or defense he'd be the best QB in history behind Rodgers and Brady. He's that good. I love Mariota but you put a healthy Luck on this team and we probably make the superbowl.

The guy hasn’t stayed healthy...He also has a horrific stat line against teams with winning records, especially in the playoffs! He’s not as great as people make him seem. Prototypical size and college pedigree, but he had the luxury of playing in a crap division and every news outlet swinging from his balls hoping he became the next Manning. Show me where he has been top 3 ever? I’ll wait....

It's **** like this that makes me hate the guy.

He's a good QB but "BEST QB IN HISTORY IF" ?! No...

Since when has Rodgers even been in the discussion of best in history behind Brady anyway?

Luck has been hyped as the best QB ever since before he ever stepped in the NFL and he just hasn't been anywhere near that good on the field.

Right now I see 12 QB's ahead of him. He should be in top 10 next year and hopefully closer to top 5 soon. Will also depend on what we do at wr, rb, and OL.

Honestly it's funny reading this and seeing the love Flota gets. Our Titans played every backup QB in the league this year and most of you guys have anointed Mariota as the best Titan QB ever based on getting us into the playoffs lol.

You are calling Luck out for his "playoff stats"? We backed into the playoffs with every other team being decimated and the JAGS. Andy Luck alive and we don't stand a chance in the division, hell we almost lost to them twice with Briskett as QB.

I hate Andrew Luck but even I can see that he's on a completely different level than our QB.

    Jealousy and envy

Seems like that has more to do with WR/RB/TE and not QB. Doesn't that mean he's not as good if it takes continually overhauling to move him up?

For being so awesome, Mariota sure needs a lot of help.

Someone on this board made this argument. Can't remember who it was, but he was adamant that A-a-Ron is the best QB of all time but his defense is what has prevented him from winning more SB than Tom Brady.

    You might be right

I watched him take some really bad teams deep into post season, with any kind of help he may have won one by now

    Luck is mediocre.

The only thing that suggests otherwise is that he simply throws the ball a lot. A lot.

Any QB can put up a ton of yards if they're throwing it 50 times a game.

Your take is absolutely absurd and based on nothing beyond ESPN hype.

I could care less about yards. My evaluation is based on watching him play, and I've watched over 70% of his games. Whenever he has any semblance of time to throw the ball, he 95% of the time makes a good play. He's extremely smart, makes reads quickly, can look off defenders, is athletic enough to keep the play alive while looking downfield, and is very accurate. He's also not phased in the clutch. The only knocks on him is he'll sometimes throw a bone-headed interception, but considering how bad his defense, line, and running game is he has to take chances other QBs don't have to take. The other knock is he can't beat Brady. Well if you put Luck with Belicheck and McDaniels and put Brady on the Colts Luck probably beats Brady all those times too.

People judge QBs so simply, just by wins and losses or passer rating. The QB position is one of the hardest to judge because there's so many factors that influence your play (coaching, offensive line, running game, defense).
