I seem to recall seeing a tweet or something mentioning that zone blocking may not be ideal for most of our OL. Will have to wait and see I suppose. Plan on listening to Cosell on the drive home

So from what I read, the zone scheme requires players that are agile and athletic. It's not suited for OL with size.

Sony is one I def want, Rashaad Penny is first - but he's likely Pole Vaulted up the 2nd round with Senior Bowl performance

Defense first 3 picks... can get a good Rb mid to late, look at all the Shanahan RBs that did well.

Ive read in a couple of articles that the zone blocking scheme won't really suit our guys, apart from Lewan, as it needs athletic types. We just have big bruisers who suited Mularkeys uber physical style.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

No team really runs an all zone or all man scheme, we'll run both, but probably favor zone more than we have since they're sayikng we're running zone now.

I think all our guys can handle the challenge, but if JR disagrees look for Spain to be let go. He's a FA and has heavy feet. Kline I think could benefit from the changes were making so he might be re-signed sooner.

I would never ever trade up in the 1st two rounds for a rb. They are rented mules now in the NFL....ride em hard until they break down or cost too much then rent another one.

He mentioned that needing 2 new guards isn't a bad thing bc we can find good zone scheme guards. Pugh is the perfect fit. He is quick and can also play tackle.

I would draft another QB in the higher rounds than I would Sony. Not saying he isn’t good, because I think he is. But you can get stud running backs in the late rounds these days and not have to screw up your draft.

Yeah I was reading on him and he would be a good option if he can stay healthy .
