Good question. My guess is JRob put less importance on the OC position than most of us thought he would/did. Get the HC first and then sort the co-ordinators seems to be the approach.

Vrabel was clearly 'his guy' pretty quickly, either before or during the 2 day interview period.

    Lets give DeFilippo everything.

    Hc
    Oc
    Dc
    Owner
    Gm
    Sc
    All our money.

Seriously I'm so tired of this board wating this guy that don't really want him.

Maybe we all just put too much emphasis on the OC position. It's possible that Mularkey is just really, really bad moreso than someone like Sean McVay is really, really good. The Jaguars didn't hire some offensive guru, and Bortles was clearly struggling. They just promoted someone, and it's tough to say that that offense hasn't gotten the most out of its talent.

Because he is not one of "JRobs" New England guys.

Outside of Chudzinski I don't really have a preference for OC as long as we dont Robiskie it but I think it would be cool if we could snag Wes Welker as the WR/AWR coach. He was one of the best route runners I've ever seen and one of the most productive WRs ever despite not having the physical gifts a lot of other guys have.

You'd think that, but why were they so quick to jump on the OSU guy? I'm nervous. I feel like this might be a typical Titan situation where we get our hopes up for something then the final decision leaves us shocked and depressed.
