    You are saying in terms of hiring rules. In terms of the job if a team promotes you from QB coach to OC that is a promotion. The OC is above position coaches in the coaching hierarchy without a doubt.

    The rule is set in stone. I’ve read the rule. Teams can also allow said coach to interview. Like in the event that the coach will get a better opportunity.
