Vrabel targeting Darren Perry for possible DC

Yeah, that wouldn’t hurt my feelings at all.

 

I like Darren Perry a lot. Also don't get the new 4- 3 obsession. All we heard for years on here was need to go 3- 4. We finally get the personnel and people want to take a step back.

 

My first choice is Brian Flores from the Patriots.

Bettcher has done a great job with the Cardinals defense ever since he took over in 2015. In 2015 they had the 5th ranked defense. In 2016 they were the 2nd best defense and this year they were top 10 as well.

He sure seems to run a similar style defense to what Vrabel wants to run.

 

AZ's DC is my first choice, too.

If we are going to be spreading it out and scoring points, we want an opportunistic defense that gets after the QB and is solid at stuffing the run.

 

Maybe we could bring in Donnie Nickey to coach the secondary...

 

It's one of those grass is greener things... personally I don't think it matters since people play so much nickle now and defensive guys are no longer pigeoned holed into a set spot in the front 7.

 

This whole 3-4 to 4-3 argument is such a waste of time.

Like the poster stated above, majority if not all the time play nickle

 

Id say there's a roughly 0% chance he is not the DC New England next season, if for no other reason than the fact that people need NEs permission to interview him for their DC jobs.

 

Can we not just trade for a coordinator with diff teams? Seems like a dumb idea but I would be willing to give a 6th rounder for a good coordinator
