Not surprising. I'm almost as excited to see some new things on defense as I am to see a new offense. Although, I think defense was far from the biggest problem the Titans had.

The only question I have is, how the hell did Dick being gone get announced before Robiskie getting fired?!

 

Because Robiskie being gone is not news. Coordinators are assumed to be gone, but Lebeau is a special case.

 

Yeah, I want a return to the House of Pain type defenses we used to have. We need a combination borderline killer/chess master running the thing.

 

Vikings need a new DC they just let Nick Foles throw for 358 on them!

 

And you think hiring a great defensive player to be Mariota's 3rd head coach in 4 years, and possibly some college level guy with no NFL experience (maybe no play calling experience either) to be his OC, will lead to an improved offence? Seems to me like the only thing on Ryan Day's resume that's kinda impressive is that he had J.T. Barrett as his QB one year.

You're right. We definitely need to score points next year. I just don't see it happening. I'll try to be optimistic and I hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if were drafting in the top 5 in 2019.

 

Well first off let’s not even begin to mention Nick Foles and Tom Savage in the same sentence.

Secondly, I could go on a list probably 10 other QB’s who lit us up this year.

 

Actually Day does have NFL experience with the Eagles and 49ers. Certainly play calling experience at a couple of different OC stops like Boston College.
