    This makes no sense.

Sorry I’m not going on only credit Mularkey for back to back 9-7 seasons. He’s the only one who turned anything around I guess. The roster had nothing to do with it. The schedule had nothing to do with it.

    This!
....and remember....”sources from INSIDE the Titans organization “ said his job was still not safe even with a playoff win.
    Guess the source....

Sorry you have problems understanding something so simple (that you said, btw).
    Good luck.

Mike did an okay job for us, but he wasn’t getting us over the top and everyone knows it. Team quit on him in the Pats game despite some bad calls. The offense continued to sputter and he did jack squat all season to fix it. The one time he took training wheels off of his players and they made calls, we won, and even then we had to have a miracle and Andy Reid help. We couldn’t win the division with an injured Luck, Watson, Watt, etc. if Houston stays healthy, we finish 3rd and that’s the facts. Mularkey couldn’t and wouldn’t adjust and it cost him. Our offense was terrible and digressed, so I’m not sure why he isn’t being held accountable by some. Pretty clear cut

I think people have some mis-conceptions in what titans brass is asking Vrabel to do. Today's leaders make decisions, not come up with the concepts. The offense will benefit because now the brass, fans and (Yes the head-coach) will all be on the same page to what the o- will do. Mularkey had his own ideas which failed miserably. Our offenses improvement does and has always hinged on what our o-coordinator can accomplish. Whis failed because he couldn't protect the qb and that Locker was not the guy. Mularkey failed because he was happy with mediocre and didn't want to change anything. We needed to take the next step and do it in a way that management can agree to. We just have to find the right guy to head the offense and we will take that next step.

I have not changed anything I said. He did a good job. That doesn’t make him a good coach. JRob and an easy schedule helped him immensely.

Not sure about this HC pick but it was obvious that Mularkey wasn't going to take us to the next level. This is a high risk high reward pick.

Let's hope JRob knows what he's doing here but Vrabels lack of experience and or success as a coach in the NFL is of concern.

I will say that it's clear that JRob wants to move in a modern, youthful direction which is exactly what most of us on this board have been clambering for, let's hope he nails it.
