how are we even arguing this. We hired a head coach with 1 year as as an NFL DC. He then in turn hires an OC with no experience as an NFL OC, but he worked on chip kelly's team's should somehow give me hope.

Do you guys have trouble navigating through life? Like walking out your front door in the morning?

Being a successful organization would require discovering capable guys and giving them their first shot, instead of just hiring retreads or competing with half the league for the popular hire.

How does this mean they won’t be successful?

Clearly you are the one with issues in life if you think you have to have success at the job you’re applying for before you can get that job.

Every successful NFL offensive coordinator had previous experience, huh? Is that what you think?

bro---i hope i am dead wrong.

Im not really even saying they will or wont be successful. My point with these last few posts is we have no business hiring day as the OC on the heels of hiring vrabel.

If were running with Vrabel as HC the OC needs to have the resume in my opinion, we shouldnt be taking a chance on the OC. Are we not taking a chance by hiring day in your opinion?

Why does the OC need to have a resume? That’s the dumbest **** I’ve ever heard. How’d that work for the Buffalo Bills this year?

Maybe because the HC has 0 experience and is a defensive coach? so perhaps having someone with a little experience on the offensive side of the ball would be a plus?

Guess im insane for thinking that

Yeah the Buffalo Bills just had that same situation. Hired an OC with a resume and then fired him after year 1.

bro I hope our coaching staff goes 14-2 next year, hope we have the most explosive offense, best defense, everytihing, I hope after every game next year i say I cant believe I ever doubted these guys could get it done.

You seem to not like the fact that I dont like the hire as HC or the potential OC hire. I dont, im not going to until I see the results. Im glad Mularkey isnt HC anymore, but im not sold that our days of losing are over.

If you are excited about the hire, etc. Im not trying to crap on your dreams man I wish I felt that way, it would be awesome. I hope you are right and im wrong.

Im not sure what you and me are arguing about at this point outside of our own perspectives on the same situation.

I’m sure there will be more names pop up than just Ryan day. I think he could be a good hire, but it’s a risky one with the no play calling experience
