I wouldn’t worry, his bar fight/broken hip incident pretty much pushes him out of consideration. If leadership is the focus, then Haley won’t be considered.

 

Was he in the fight tho or a victim of wrong place wrong time

 

Details have yet to surface, but given his history, hard to believe he wasn’t somehow involved. Innocent until proven guilty, but your reputation tags you. His inability to work and communicate with Roethlesberger is also telling.

 

I put the following as most likely:

1. Kubiak- 3:1 (available, experienced and wants back in coaching)
   
2. Unknown- 3:1 (some Vrabel past connection off the radar)
3. DeFilippo- 3:1 (if he doesn't get AZ gig)
4. Haley- 5:1 (don't be surprised w/ his experience)
   
5. LaFleur- 5:1 (only to call own plays)
   
6. Cooter-5:1 (just to get to TN)

 

McVay, I think, stated he would let LaFleur go if he can get a position where he can call plays.
