Titans hire Mike Vrabel as Head Coach

Vrabel being on the same page as Robinson when it comes to Mariota and the team makes him better positioned to win a Superbowl. A coach and a GM battling about the direction of the team is a disaster waiting to happen.

 

So you think because he had connections that he is somehow less qualified? I don’t think Jrob would do that. Lol Mularky wasn’t winning an SB anyways so it really can’t be worse from that perspective

Even if he fails, we tried and did not go down the retread path.. i can't ****ing stand constantly hiring failures from other teams just because their name is familiar.

Like this better than Munchak / Whiz / Mularkey that's for damn sure, **** experience.. last 3 had "experience" and sucked

 

I've read through the comments in this thread, and it's pretty consistent. This is a 'meh' signing.

Vrabel has very limited coaching experience, and as DC he oversaw one of the worst performing defenses in the league (albiet injuries). Look over in the r/Texans subreddit, they wanted the guy fired!

LOL why? Because he is a good DC? Don’t want good coaches on the staff?

Wilks (Leader type with impressive DC experience) with DeFilipo (QB/Offense God) would have been much better.
