Are you guys in agreements in terms of Robinson hiring of a new coach may impact his long term job in the future?

This is by far his biggest splash as a GM - If he brings a coach that isnt capable of leading us to playoffs and possibly SB this whole thing will fall in his shoulders.

This will be what defines Jon Robinson as our GM.

This is POSSIBLY he’s biggest make or break move from a GM standpoint

    Agree or disagree? Why?

He was saddled with Mularkey and Robiskie, I doubt he gets roasted for the next hire if it doesn't work out.

Not to say it's not a huge hiring for this team and franchise but I don't believe his career is on the line.

If he keeps Robiskie, I'll certainly question his intelligence though :)

Because of the ownership JR could get two swings at this

Amy probably let JRob take multiple swings. Whether it’s the right move or not

as long as he keeps drafting well i dont think the HC hire matters. HC hiring is kind of a crapshoot imo

This is a smart move regardless. It took balls, and he made the move most of us wanted. He doesn’t want to settle for mediocrity. Mularkey did provide culture, but the lack of player development was downright scary. The offense was a train wreck and Mularkey made no changes. That is what a coach is supposed to do. So will they regret it if someone comes in here and fails in other areas? Nope. No way our Offense is as bad next year...It was outdated, predictable, and boring....Let’s get someone that will shake things up and make changes/hold staff accountable!

I’d give JRob an extension just for the simple fact he fired Murlarkey, everything now is just icing on the cake.

If he brings in a worse coach, it won’t be icing on the cake. We have seen coaches fail much harder with talented rosters.

    Fingers are crossed.
