Schwartz should be our #1 target IMO.

 

Would take him back as DC fore sure, but just not sure about the head gig.

 

Hes worth bringing in for a interview.

It would have been nice if there were. Robinson likely anticipated this moment coming, but not the ridiculous amount of openings in the league. Nor how terrible a coaching staff that Mularkey had assembled, and the urgent need for one who could set Mariota straight.

I really believe that he wanted to make Mularkey work, and mesh his strengths (offensive line, rushing, discipline) with someone who could incorporate more modern route running concepts and passing attack. If no other reason than for necessity. Now there are nothing but green candidates

 

For me, the decision on the HC should be by which one of the guys brings the best staff package. MM and the O could get the shot in the arm needed even with the hiring of Defensive HC. That said, which candidate is bringing with them the best staff package?

 

I like Matt Lafleur as HC

DeFlippo as OC

 

as the days go on, yeah, im really on board with any situation the ends up having flip on the sideline in some capacity. I dont mind wilks, lafleur, not a fan of vrabel or schwartz. Vrabel simply because hes from the Texans, and played on the Pats. Schwartz becasue he seemed like an idiot when he was HC of the Lions, and hes a Fisher guy, I want someone in charge of the team that never was on a Titans coaching staff.

 

I like Steve Wilks as a candidate, assuming he hires someone who can handle the offensive side. The Carolina defense improved substantially this season, and he's got much more charisma and presence than the other candidates I've seen.
