I'll have to think harder about best.

Worst: Its easy to peg Locker since he went 8th overall and really just took up space for a few years, and man, just listen to that reason for retiring "Retired at 26 due to the lost desire to play football." Sad.

But in the same tier as Locker i have to put DGB, for having all the gifts in the world but is just seemingly too stupid to play the game. Woolfolk was another first rounder that scrubbed out after a few seasons and so was Kevin Dyson, it adds extra salt to the wound knowing they were looking to draft a WR and then passed on Randy Moss only for him to be taken a couple spots after Dyson (not Dyson's fault i know, but it hurts the same).

Titans drafted Need in the first that year.

I'm pretty set that you go BPA in the first.

Then who would've threw the ball to Julio?

When I think of "Worst" I think of a pick that truly sets us back years.

In that case, Locker is a clear #1
Woolfolk didn't hurt anything. DGB/Hunter/Henry/Warmack were atrocious picks, but didn't set us back much further than we would have already been.
Kendall Wright was a bad 1st round pick, too. Kenny Britt.. Any receiver we have taken in the 1st 2 rounds, really.. Maybe not Mason, if he was a high pick.

Pacman was a risk, but he did have some great ability.

But none set us back as much as Jake Locker did. And the only reason he was drafted was because of the knee-jerk reaction to VY.

Locker was the worst pick, But VY's failure was really what put us on this 13 year spiral.. combined with Fisher overstaying his welcome.

VY at least had real potential and ability, that's why I put Locker as #1. He was a character pick, with no ability and no accuracy.

The story Jeff told about Locker sitting at the mall/Wal-Mart for an autograph session, and everyone walked by without even recognizing him... that says a lot about his tenure here.

But: As far as actual lack of ability and ineptness for a high pick, Chance Warmack takes that prize. What a total failure.

And although I am no longer a fan, Keith Bulluck was the best pick the Titans ever made. a decade of great play, really made an impact.

Worst pick was hands down VY.

Best pick is tough, but I am going with Cortland Finnegan.

You don't consider Albert Haynesworth one of the best?

I remember a poster on there (Hamel something...been awhile) who was advocating taking Andy Dalton in the second round that year. That said, I am not sure if he was still available for us at that point.

Admittedly Dalton has had a few bumps as well, but he has certainly panned out better than Locker (or Blaine Gabbert for that matter).

I think if you're going to do a Julio Jones type trade, you better have an established QB already set in stone.

Dalton has had AJ Green, too. Big cushy target that catches anything you throw at him. If he were drafted here, he would have had no weapons and Mike Munchak as head coach. Locker would have failed anywhere, but I think Dalton would have failed here, too.

Worst pick is easily Chance Warmack because of how much draft capital and time was wasted on him. 10th overall for a guy who played like a 5th rounder who ended up costing multiple QB's their jobs here..... SMH

Best pick is Jurrell Casey. 3rd rounder whos been the cornerstone of our defense for 7 years.. Thank God for picks like him, if not we'd be a ****ing mess today..
