Since the franchise moved to Tennessee, what is best and worst draft in franchise history for you?

Best- Keith Bulluck. Taken 30th overall in the 2000 draft. Played 11 seasons in the NFL and 10 with the Titans. Made 3 All-Pro Teams but you could make the argument he should have made more. Maybe he didn't establish a hall of fame career, but easily the greatest defensive player we've ever had and he was 2 picks away from taken in the second round.

Honorable mentions - Samari Rolle (46th overall) , Michael Roos (41th overall), Chris Johnson (24th overall), Cortland Finnegan (215th overall).

Worst - Jake Locker. Taken 8th overall in the 2011 draft. Was expected to be the next franchise quarterback and only ended up playing 30 career games (less than 2 full seasons) with a career QB rating of 79. Retired at 26 due to the lost desire to play football.

Honorable mentions - Chance Warmack (10th overall), Andre Woolfolk (28th overall), Chris Henry (50th overall), Paul Williams (80th overall).

I was going to put VY10 as the last honorable mention for worst pick but then I remembered Paul Williams had ONE career catch lol.

Best has to be Michael Roos - especially for a 2nd rounder.

    Worst is definitely Andre Woolfolk...

ATL went all in and traded up to get Julio Jones at 5

    We got Locker at 7

We probably could have had Julio Jones if we had really wanted

Locker, Warmack, DGB, Chris Henry & Woolfolk all come to mind.

Mariota, Bullock, Rolle, Kearse, Roos, David Stewart, Lewan & Jurrell Casey (3rd round).

Yeah....that was one where I could see the train coming on. When rumors about our interest in him started coming out late that season, I purposely took time out to watch Locker play in his bowl game that year, and was really not impressed at all that night. At that point I was somewhat vocal on this board that we did not need to draft any QB early that year (was not a fan of any of the QB candidates that year that were looking to go early...I think I was wrong on Cam, but believe I was right on the rest).

When we drafted him, I was not dancing in the streets, but I did like his attitude so gave him his due (for 2-3 seasons). The rest is history.

But yeah, in our recent history I would agree...from a "setting back the organization for over 5 year" standpoint, I would think that his draft pick was most impactful. VY was ultimately a dud as well, but he did have some flashes for us IMO.

That said, taken consecutively (VY in 05, then Locker in 11), was one of the larger contributors to the malaise that we have experienced since the glory days of the late 90s-early 00s IMO.

I agree, I saw the same bowl game and wasn't impressed.

VY was fun to watch. Def not a SB qb but he was fun to watch.

I think Pacman is a bust just for the fact that he was drafted so high and was always in trouble, despite the fact that he made plays from time to time.

Pacman wasn't a good fit here and he was too immature.

Plus there was that whole incident with the garbage bag and one dollar bills and someone who may or may not have gotten shot because of it
