Thank you Amy!

Honestly, I think the flood of fans upset with our offense was a large part of this decision. She wanted to keep Mularky, but get rid of Robiski, and maybe others. A lot of fans would have been ok with that, but he refused.

But whatever the reason..thank you Amy for listening and embracing a change that can make us perennial contenders for the Super Bowl.

I will hold my thanks until I can see who the new head coach is. She needs to defer to Jon for this decision. He needs to be able to hire his own guy and not be pushed to hire someone he knows is bad.

One thing for sure....Amy Strunk is an engaged, proactive owner. And this is the same woman seen at Titans tailgate parties in other cities for the playoffs. No one had that much hope that she'd do any better than her sister and husband running the team but she's really trying.

I'm baaaack. Truth be told I joined this forum because of Marcus. I think he will be a very good if not great NFL QB. Had questions about Mularky from the beginning. Blamed that on Amy thinking she was the problem. Had predicted the Titans would be in the playoffs in his second year. They could have but the play calling /game plan was highly questionable. Mularky is NOT a superbowl caliber coach. This year I was hoping for a 4 -6 win season so they could fire the coach. I had a personal silent protest on this forum. Getting into the playoffs then beating KC didn't help the cause. Thank you Amy. In my short time here I thought you were the problem. I didn't think she had the bal...guts to do it. Mularky was good in bring a new culture to the Titans. That made a big team difference. The Robinson hire was the best decision Amy made in my short time here. The Titans should have a very good list of candidates for the HC position this time. Robinson won't mess this up. I smell a superbowl in the near future.

 

I am so thankful Amy sees that Mularky would not have moved us forward.

But what pisses me off is that Mularky and company were so adept at screwing things up, that we will head into yet another draft trying to find offensive talent.
I mean how many drafts in a row will we neglect this limping defense? I would bet we are looking for at least another OG, WR, and RB in 2018? The same positions we were desperate for the last five drafts.
Traditionally our team has excelled when we have a run stuffing d lineman, and dominant d-end.

I would spend out first two picks strengthening our d-line. And pray our new coach can fix our "well stocked" offense.
