End of Season Review

Did you catch his comment about Davis? Something about how he was a big player with huge potential, and how he could be a star with other teams? (I'm paraphrasing, I'll re-watch and get the exact quote later if you want).

 

I did catch that part as well, but I did also catch him say Mariota had a down year or something along those lines.

 

Statistically Mariota was very down

13 touchdowns and 15 INT's
That's 1/2 as many TD's as last year.

We need coaches/a system that put him in a position to maximize his abilities. I don't think we set up him up for success this year.

 

I like Romo. He has zero filter, in a good way. He says it lot of the things many of us think during a game.

In regards to him regressing, I'm talking about this season compare to the last 2--and especially compared to where I thought he'd be this season.

Jared Goff had 3800 yards and 28 TD's
Mariota had 3200 and 13 TD's.

I think people feel that Goff isn't an elite QB--but I'd have been much happier if my QB had those numbers.
