End of Season Review

Can mods pls change my name to Fire Mularkey

 

Romo said it best " I think the Titans took a step back some this season".

 

Yep. We sure did.

I felt better about this franchise at the end of last season.

Now, get a real coach, and that changes.

 

I really like Mularkey as a person and I think his demeanor and fondness for the players has helped the team turn around from the hot mess that Whisenhunt and Webster gave us.
That said, this team has been hot and cold all season- with more lackluster than amazing. Mariota’s health effected both his offseason development and the regular season, and it is more than apparent that this team can only be as good as its quarterback play, and his play can only be as good as the protection he has. More defensive depth / play makers and Mariota has to improve in his reads.

 

Well from 2nd quarter to finish.

 

You’ll need an attorney for that. But think of the hassle with a new drivers license and all the crap at the bank.

 

This time a year ago, I thought Marriota was a star in the making. We got him a high draft pick WR. But offensively, all we're good at is running now.

As a rookie, he threw 19 TD's. Last year 26 TDs in 15 games.

At a point in the season, we're 8-4, and then we lose 3 in a row. We then beat the Jaguars to get into the playoffs, come back to beat the Chiefs.

Then, we look like a college team vs the Patriots.

I think overall we struggle with identity.

If you asked me prior to the start of the season if I'd be happy if we made the playoffs--and I'd say absolutely. But the weird end to the season, looking completely inept tonight--the way Mariotta seemed to take a step back..it's frustrating.

 

Mariota was one of the few bright spots tonight.
