Seahawks fans talk about Bevell the same way we talk about Robiskie

And "He is better than Robiskie" is a lame argument to hire him. Simply being better than Robiskie is like being the smartest kid with Down Syndrome.

 

the thing is, the seahawks fans have been spoiled by great offenses over the years (bevells offenses) so ANY dip in production or missing of the playoffs is the end of the world to them. they may soon find out the grass is not always greener

i would argue that DEFENSE was their downfall this year, mostly due to injuries, not offense

 

That offense that played us was trash until garbage time

 

Judging by the rumors, I'm thinking that Robinson wants to get Mariota the best help available, not just plug in some unemployed former OC. And I also wouldn't be surprised if there has already been some agreement made with McDaniels, with the vague statement made by Adams.

 

Shula and Bevell are both SUPER HATED by their teams fanbases. Both are in the same scrub tier with Robiskie IMO.

I suppose speculation would be the more appropriate word. The FO reportedly is frustrated with the development of Mariota and felt like they had the talent to be better than they were this season. And as much admiration as AAS has for Mularkey, her statement seemed very meticulous and written as to avoid anything specific which could put the FO in a bad light were anything to happen to Mularkey.

I just don't think you risk firing a coach who has a winning record with your team in a seller's market unless you have a plan. They sure seemed prepared to do that before last weekend, and QB whisperers aren't exactly readily available. Of course, it feels like forever until Saturday, and I'm making up conspiracy theories to keep myself entertained until then.
