I honestly don’t think Mularkey is in the clear yet...Especially after seeing his response last night

Even if we keep Mularkey and demote Robiskie, we're not gonna get any legitimate offensive coordinators unless we also extend Mularkey. Nobody wants to come here under a lame duck head coach.

That being said, Mark Helfrich is still unemployed (for now). I know a couple guys that played for him at Oregon, and they all say he's an Xs and Os genius who was probably always better suited to be a coordinator. Might be worth looking at.

Most fans are just excited because we got lucky and squeaked by once again and got a playoff win. Once that wears off, you’ll realize he is still the same terrible outdated coach we’ve seen all year. Then we can completely waste next year and fire him anyways and miss out on the Patriots coordinators.

No way he's getting fired after a playoff win. Even if it took Mariota putting the team on his back and some help from the refs. Extension incoming.

I still think Mularkey is complete trash. But it is what it is at this point. The one good thing I can say is the players actually do seem to want to play hard for him (or perhaps for themselves, which is a different culture than we've been accustomed to). Titans teams of years past would seemingly fold and pack it in when things got tough. This team plays until the bitter end.

I'm just hoping Robiskie is gone no matter what. We may be stuck with Mularkey and his crap scheme, but competent playcalling could still go a long way. Probably was the difference in a couple of losses this year.

It’s funny the Titans know the controversy this has caused and even Mularkey called them out himself. Not a word from the Titans. Something going on...

Like I said, EVERY fanbase besides the Patriots’ wants to fire their head coach.

And for the record, I’ve been a Mularkey supporter from the beginning. I’m don’t think he’s some transcendent HC, a lot of his in game decisions regarding clock management drive me nuts, and he needs to adjust the offense a bit, but I think he’s pretty solid.

Yeah, that seems like a good assessment: not flawless, but solid.

I seem to recall a lot of flak about him not seeming passionate enough- same with Munch. Though it's a nice quality to have, Fisher had plenty of it and is watching from the sofa.

Because fans opinions of coaches mean jack **** compared to the players, FOs and ultimately ownerships
