Pre-Game Thread Wild Card Round: Titans @ Chiefs

Our run offense is worse. We have a week to teach Henry where to run and M8 where to throw. Better cram it in guys.

 

Titans did not back into the POs but I totally agree.

I think MM should be fired no matter what, but instead of asking me what I thought Strunk gave me handwarmers sunday afternoon. Probably as good a deal as I will ever get

If Robiskie calls these plays in the game where we have 7 blockers and yet Henry is tackled in the backfield, we are done.

 

what really bothers me about this play is they begged us to run to our left and we call a counter to the right. Even I know from playing Madden you count the bodies and run to the side in your favor, why are we staying in this play?

 

Let me start off by saying I'm incredibly excited to be in the playoffs.

Its been so long, the win over the Jags felt truly special.


I think we have a chance in this game. We must contain Hill. Can't let him make a big play. Hunt scares me too. I know we've done well vs the run but Hunt is a good pass catcher as well, and that's where we're susceptible. Byard & Jayon are pretty good at covering TEs but Kelce is a different beast

The Chiefs have an average run defense at best. We need to play our game. Run the ball well, milk the clock.

Scared of Kelce and Hill. Not sure our secondary in their current condition can slow them. Gonna have to get after Smith.

 

While I can't disagree with any of this, I'd also like to point out the jail break of Jags meeting him right after Jack.

And those hand warmers would have come in handy with this polar vortex weather we are having.

 

I think this is also something Mariota has to do better in reading the defense. He should have shifted blocking or audibled out.
