Mariota would be a paraplegic, and we'd still be going 2-14.

    Whiz was THAT bad.

But strictly as an OC, I think he could thrive with this roster.

I'd take Fisher back as DC. Would like to see us back in the 43. Although, maybe we just need more young minds who understand today's NFL better than the old guys.

I can see the Titans firing Mularkey and hiring a dud like Dan Campbell

Why is the NFL making this list?
I could see specific writers or something ranking potential HC looking forward but not the league. This almost seems like favoritism.

That said, anyone listed could only be as bad as Mularkey and that would be a tough bar to reach.
I think we'd do better with a defensive HC but find a good OC.

Schwartz is talked about a lot, but I don't know enough about him to comment either

I would love Pat Shurmer. Look what he's doing with Case Keenum and the Vikings offense. And he developed Diggs and Theilen in a system that they are thriving on.

Titans should of hired Chip Kelly. At that point he just wanted to coach and didn't want complete control over everything like in philly. He would have known how to use MM8, the offense would worked through 8 and not a busted up old RB. A lot of people here didnt want Chip here but at this point he would been leaps and bounds better that the current coaching staff.

The personnel part was irrelevant to his failure in the NFL. His failure was based on destroying his own defense. This was the exact same problem the late 80's/early 90's Oilers had. They scored so fast that the D never had any chance to get off the field so by the second half, there really wasn't even a D on the field.

Exciting, sure. SB worthy, no. Kelly would have been fun to watch for a year but when this team couldn't compete with any team resembling a defense, they would have gotten crushed just like the Eagles did and fans would have turned on him quickly.

And if all we're looking for is someone better than Mularkey, put a bunch of names in a hat and pick one. I think the bar should be set a little hire than just improving from Mularkey since that bar is so low.

Here is a link to who will be our next Head Coach. I'm going to go with Lou Spanos or Arthur Smith.

I just want to save you guys time and effort on talking about coaches who will only stand on the visitors sideline.
