Pick #5 of the 2017 NFL Draft: WR Corey Davis, Western Michigan

To be fair, concentration drops were one of the (few) noted weaknesses of Corey's game. So it makes sense to pay attention to it, even during OTA's. That said, I'll wait to see how he actually performs during the season.

I'm glad we got Corey and tried to address our WR need. But I think we may ultimately regret passing on Jamal Adams.

 

Not sure why a picture, from OTA's is getting so much dissecting and discussing.

Y'all know the Preds are in the Stanley Cup Final, right?

 

Naturally, we should be talking about hockey in a football forum.

Not everyone on here is in Nashville, and even fewer care about hockey. I hope they win, but I'll be okay with missing it.

 

Go Preds!!!!! I am glad we took Corey Davis over the other wideouts and even some other positions. I think Adams was the more safe pick, but we addressed Safety already. Outside of Garrett, the top 10 was a crapshoot. I just hope that he is healthy and that he can play better than KW, Sharpe, or Douglas. At this point, it's all we can ask for this early. I fully expect him to be better than those named and become a big redzone threat as well. I also really liked the Taylor pick. These guys could have us set up on Offense for years.

 

The guys in the OTA photo are about as "in" the Stanley Cup Final as the Preds are. :(

 

I've said this before, but I'm in TN and don't know a single person who likes hockey. I'd be willing to bet I could poll 100 people here in west TN and very few would even know Nashville had a hockey team.

I guess why find other hobbies or interests when you can debate for days about a missed catch in OTA's tho.

 

I'm with ya...it's a silly discussion...my point is that most people outside of Nashville don't care about the Preds or hockey in general. Lol

 

I mean, to some people hockey just seems like a 60-minute game of keep away.
