Our FA has been a solid B. Didn't over pay for anyone and still filled most of our needs. Never going to fill them all. Our 3 main needs are WR, CB and ILB. TE #2 a distant 4. We very easily, I bet we will, trade with CLE. They have like 40 2nd round picks this year. #5 for #12 and #33. Works for trade value and they get 2 top D players. #12 can be Davis and #18 can be a CB like Gareon Conley. #33 could be used for Jarrad Davis or Cunningham. Leaves our 2 3rds for a TE like Butt and a OLB OR O-line depth. Maybe go Howard at #18 and CB at #33. Plenty of good ILB in the draft as well to wait until the 3rd.

Would that make most everyone happy? Seems to fill all of our needs/wants.

Idk I'd consider the bad grades when a team fails to keep their own talents. Like if the Chiefs had to let go of Berry due to cap.

So for that reason I think the baseline starts at a C.

Cyp, Ryan are starters. Cyp is less proven, but Ryan will be our day 1 CB1 for the next two years.

Special teams lost us like two games alone last year, countless more probably due to field position adding up over the course of a game. 1-10 yards each punt over the course of the game is gonna be substantial.

Cap space rolling over, next year we will consider a Lewan extension. Lot of player contracts coming up...

    so idk, B?

He and the Titans needed to breakup. He didn't work out here and kind of mailed it in this season knowing he wasn't going to be back.

Cyp is absolutely proven. The guy has started 60 games.

Blind homerism at its finest. Snag the Pats #2 corner for 30mil, take the Broncos NT who couldn't make plays with Von Miller, Ware, Shane Ray, Derrick Wolfe lined up next to him.....WOOOOOHOOOO

Oops, don't forget about adding a gunner and a personal protector on punt team! But, what's Jalston Fowler gonna do on gamedays now?

I give the Titans an A+ for free agency because we signed 2 starters to our Punt team.

Yeah, we definitely didn't have to worry about losing any one of considerable talent this year. I guess that's a positive of drafting so poorly 4 years ago?

And it's a solid point about cap space rolling over. We could easily keep about $50M+ this offseason and roll it into next year, along with whatever the cap climbs to so we can back up the Brinks truck for Lewan, and still go after a few more big names. We could easily have $60M+ in cap room next year.

When you think about it we lost 2 or 3 games season because special teams gave up a touchdown or allowed great friend position. We got nobody I wanted and I'm cool with that as long as we address needs. Our LB's were pretty solid last year. Our secondary was the main problem.

You could also say that if we had more playmakers on offense/defense then those games wouldn't have hinged on a single special teams moment.

Or we could have paid a wino 2 bucks to stand in his place and gotten about the same result.

Ryan is not Cb1... he is Cb2/N.

Cyp is not SS1... he is SS2... Big nickel, run downs. Blitzing. Limited coverage.

    The NT? .... pfff.

Trawick has actual value on ST as well as some decently serviceable Coverage ability.

    Bates? Idk

WEEMS!!!!... 32 years old. Enough said.

It's a C. Plus or minus. Some serviceable pieces but nothing all that major.
