What it tells me is that everyone has completely unrealistic expectations. I'd love to go into the season with Berry, Gilmore, and Bouye, but guess who else would? Everyone.

Or 3) He has values for every free agent and doesn't deviate from it when the value crosses into the negative range.

I did laugh pretty hard at your tweet to Benjamin Allbright though.

JR isn't an amateur. Have a little faith.

    an article on Cyprien:

He struggled in his initial three seasons, but finally put it all together in 2016. Cyprien had 27 run stops last year (first among safeties) and earned the highest run defense grade of all safeties by PFF’s metrics. According to PFF, he was also the second best available safety in free agency. He was slightly behind Tony Jefferson, but ranked ahead of Eric Berry last season.

Watch we're gonna do nothing good in FA whatsoever and then all-a-sudden these guys become really good players for us and we're all like.."damn JR is the man!! twice now he's quietly killed it in FA!! The Assassin."

I do trust JR, but we are just signing random douche's on day 1. Do not understand the rush for role or special teams players. We need playmakers

I agree this team needs playmakers, especially at WR/CB/ILB.
But after hearing how much the jags and some of the other "big offseason spenders" have spent in free agency the past 5 years... I'm finally convinced that spending in FA doesn't result in wins. Jags have spent the most in FA over the past 5 years and are arguably the worst team in the NFL

Maybe FA is just a better source for depth, role players, and special teamers. Although, it wouldn't hurt to come away with Logan Ryan or Hightower.

why these guys all gotta be douches?

While I agree none are off the charts and hardly register on the Richter scale, our ST was complete and total garbage last year. No way I can bash JR for signing a couple standout STers.
Also think Cyprien may turn out pretty good for us. We constantly knock the Jags for sucking, but similar to the Titans cast offs, sometimes they end up performing much better elsewhere.

I don't think it was a rush for the Titans to sign those guys. JRob put a bunch of offers out there. It was the random douches who were in a rush to accept their offers. That's why they're in the news right now.

Some of the stars haven't accepted their offers yet. Guys like Hightower, Brandon Williams, Poe, Hankins, a few of the WRs and CBs, are weighing their options and will make their decisions a little later.

I would just feel better if we were getting play makers, it is not like we do not have the money. I will state this again and again, stop raising ticket prices, until ownership stops pocketing the extra cap money year after year.

We could use a real NT too such as williams from the ravens
