We need to sign corner AJ Bouye in free agency.

IF we were able to get safety Eric Berry and AJ Bouye then turn around and draft another really good corner like Marshon Lattimore or Adoree Jackson and one good thing about Adoree Jackson he is a great KR/PR and has 2 punt returns as well as 2 kick returns for TD's.

Get Berry,Bouye and Lattimore/Jackson and we would have a killer secondary/D.

I'm in complete agreement. Berry and Bouye all the way. The WR can come through the draft as well as the second CB.

I think we will end up with Logan Ryan as our FA CB and maybe a mid range guy if the FO decides not to keep McCourty. Robinson was Director of College Scouting when the Pats took him in 2013.

Logan Ryan, Jamie Collins, and Eric Berry would be a slam dunk FA.

Good call on Logan Ryan, but I bet he doesn't hit the open market. I think the Pats will lock him up to a new deal. The Pats have a ton of cap space and so I see no reason they wouldn't. You don't see many Pats players leave if they are offered a fair deal.

That would be a heck of a FA class.

Now a days I don't even bother trying to guess what the Pats will do but one thing I do know is that they will not offer Ryan a dime above what they believe his value is. I think that the rest of their secondary played well enough that their priorities will be Hightower and Sheard this year with them replacing Ryan in the draft.

CB is deep in this draft; which suits our needs well.

McCourty is hot garbage. Even when he is not injured; he cannot keep up with WRs anymore. He is not covering well, & continually got flagged for P.I. this year. He was flagged because he knew he was beat; & started pulling, or grabbing the WR. He is showing all the signs that he can no longer keep up.

Moving McCourty to Safety came up last year. He did not want to make the move. If he still does not want to move; it's time to restructure or cut him. He can be a back up, which we will still need; or look for work elsewhere. Just my thoughts.

We are in huge need of a big time make over in the secondary. We have been for a VERY long time. This year is THE year to make that adjustment.

BTW, I do not think moving McCourty to Safety is a fix for the Safety position at all. We still need to address Safety as well. So he would not be a lock to start there either.

Byard played very well IMO. If we draft a guy like Hooker, I could see McCourty cut or restructured to a back up role. He is much better suited as a back up. His leadership is his top value at this point. You do not pay over $7 million for leadership with very limited production.

Easier said that done? You think the Titans are the only team with lots of cap space that needs CB help? Still going to need to spend a first rounder on one.

I agree completely. I think he has been impressive. I would like to see him be put in better position to use those ball skills. However, for year one, as a rookie; I think he made a very good impression.

Searcy on the other hand is nothing special to me at all. Seemed to me like he missed a lot of tackles this year. Maybe it was just me.........
