Looking at it on the surface CJ/White is the obvious answer but I went with Murray and Henry, here's why:

-White doesn't really bring much to the table here, at least with Henry there is a bit more mystery to his game. We talk about CJ being a homerun threat but Henry has that potential as well, we just don't see it as much because he rotates out a lot more than White did. I would give the clear edge to Henry based off his current sample size and having much larger potential.

-Murray/Henry is basically CJ but more consistent. Murray doesn't do the whole run for 0 or gain 40. Murray is going to get you yards consistently. He's also the more complete back since he can catch out of the backfield and as mentioned in this thread, had a hell of a grab on Sunday to help give the Titans the win. Henry is the homerun threat and I think we're going to see more and more Henry until the playoffs at least. Mularkey apparently learned his lesson and is trying not to run Murray into the ground.

I would pretty much do anything to see a Mariota/prime CJ backfield but Murray/Henry would have also lit up the stat sheet in 2008 behind that OL as well. Remember, Murray was a 2k rusher just 2 years ago.

For anyone who thinks CJ was always a one trick pony...check out a highlight reel of the 2k yard season. He ran through and bounced off of tacklers, stiff armed and fought for yards back then.

I had almost forgot how effortless he made it seem to take it in from anywhere. You could tell that his mentality was to score with every touch. He was also a threat in the passing game as no one wanted to have to try to catch him in the open field.

He was an exciting player to watch for a few years. Too bad the paycheck went to his head and not his heart.

He said that? It's good that he finally realises that. That means he's matured. If he had that attitude after he got paid, he could have had a few more special years left in Nashville.

I didn't hate CJ even after he went downhill, I always knew he had it in him... But at one point you watched him and knew he didn't have the desire any more. He gave the Titans a couple of special years and made watching a Titans game exciting, win or lose.

I think ppl tend to forget that CJ wasn't a boom or bust running back in 2008 and 2009. Murray never rushed for 2k by the way.

2009 is when CJ had the 2K....lol

CJ had the 2K with 14tds, but White only had 222yds with 2 tds in 09

Murray and Henry are like having two Eddie George's.
Speed will get you a big play once in a while, however, muscle will get you to the playoffs.
