Get RID of Mariota

I get annoyed with people saying this all the time, he does fine in the short passing game, was he off today ya he was. Luck was off on some short throws too, colts need to move on from him too. Plus Luck has 4 years more experience than MAriota. I know this is a win now league but young QB's need time to put all the pieces together some more than others.

 

Oh please....this isn't Div 2 football...its the NFL. Grow up.

He's shown flashes of what he could become, just not consistently. Last year it looked like we had hit the lottery, set records, great accuracy, virtually no interceptions, excellent red zone efficiency. It appeared that he just needed to grow and learn, and clean up a few bad habits.

Unfortunately he has taken a step back this year. I'm still not completely done yet but I'm certainly not happy thus far with how he's progressing.

Yes, but he's still basically a rookie with the worst offensive coaching staff in the NFL.

His deep ball problems are not arm strength, he obviously keeps over throwing his recievers so it's not about strength. It's touch and timing. He can get better at that, not saying that he will, but that is fixable.

 

So when rookies come into the league and say how fast the game is played at the NFL level there is not adjustment period for them to get comfortable playing at this level? This more so for a QB.

He has had AMPLE time to adjust. This is his second year. There are rookies out there with O lines not as good or equal to ours that are doing far better already, namely Wentz and Prescott.
