At 7 I'd love DeForest Buckner, Myles Jack, or VH3. But, I can't imagine they'd pay Kaep & trade up for a QB.

Just draft Wentz if no good offer comes. Some team for QB will then trade with us. That's called big balls.

Cause nobody thinks we'd do it so our pick is devalued. Believe me they'd come to the table quick. JR is a wildcard to others at GM. He should be bluffing big balls right now and do it if somebody calls him on it. If a reasonable trade is offered then no need to do it. But if nobody offering anything decent, then force their hand.

If there were good QB this draft, I'd agree. But there's not, so this is a horrible idea.

Half tongue n cheek here but ther are teams that need a QB this year and are reported to want Wentz. Shame for us to not be able to parlay that #1 pick into something better than an OT that we'd get with an early trade anyway.

That's exactly what the Oilers did with Jim Everett and hauled in a ton from the Rams.

Just a mention of that history from JR to another GM should elicit at least a fair value trade of the pick.

Takes big balls to get big gains. I'm ready to be the Lion and not the lamb.

The only real option I can think of here would be a trade with the 49ers. There are other teams out there that are QB needy, but for us to stay in the Top 10 I'd say this is our best bet. Dream trade for me would be:

    Titans receive:
    9ers 7th overall (2016)
    9ers 37th overall (2016)
    9ers 1st round (2017)
    9ers 2nd round (2017)
    Eric Reid FS

    49ers receive:
    Titans 1st overall (2016)

I'm probably asking for a lot, but it's a pretty big move to come up for the #1 overall pick no matter where you initially sit. Take Ronnie Stanley at 7 and then you've got compensation to make moves later in the draft this year and next year.
