DeMarco Murray traded to Titans

I just want to say that I think this is awesome for the Titans. Murray is an instant upgrade over anyone we've had for years. Plus Murray has another 2 seasons before he even turns 30 and doesn't have a lot of tread except for 2014. If the Titans get him for a 5th or 6th round that's just icing on top. I'm excited that the Titans have been making headlines this past year with Marcus Mariota, the 1st pick in the draft, and now getting a household name in Murray.

 

This was said when Levitre was signed.

 

Honestly, I'm ok with a 5, 6 or 7th. I'd obviously prefer the latter two, but I do think a 5th would still be worth it.

I also agree with others saying getting this out there today, shows FA's we're seriously about spending money, winning, and turning this dumpster fire around. I'm hoping this is why we saw no RT talk today, and that it pops up tomorrow.

DM can catch as well so he is a dual threat out of the backfield. This is a solid move if we do not have to give a low pick for him.....at least we have somebody to take some heat off of MM8

Hope we can get a couple more solid FA's when the frenzy begins

Important to remember as well that Murray is a huge asset for the passing game. Not only does he catch the ball out of the backfield well, but he is strong in pass protection too.
