Titans named interim coach Mike Mularkey head coach.

It's hard to fathom a less-inspiring hire. It's arguably the league's worst since the Jags hired Mularkey in 2012, only to fire him after one season. With a chaotic ownership setup and a rookie general manager, the Titans opted for continuity with Marcus Mariota, but nothing in Mularkey's history suggests he'll be the one to get the most out of his young and gifted dual-threat quarterback. The Titans are simply addicted to bad decisions. It's quite possible they'll be forced to embark on an actual head-coaching search this time next year.

Lol. The guy who wrote those statements could have at least used some variation...

 

She already has in a statement. Basically just said he's a nice guy and she liked his "leadership" toward the end of the season. I guess wins and losses be damned right? As long as a guy is nice and has leadership qualities that's good enough for this team.

 

Sometimes you just gotta choose to believe... even when you know it's mularkey.

Lol this is unbelievable. Pathetic. Pitiful. No words. We are a rudderless ship. The absolute worst run franchise in all of pro sports. I'm actually embarrassed to say I'm a fan. I was planning on a trip to Nashville next season to watch a game, not anymore. The only $$ I'll spend on this franchise next year is the NFL package so I don't have to rely on streams, because it drives me crazy to miss a game..I wish I wasn't this way though, because it's going 14 games of crap and maybe 2 good ones.

 

Seriously though, this ruined my day. I can not believe this is true.
