right, there are no sources for any of this. They could say Coughlin is a leading candidate if Ross is hired as well, im sure that is next. Ross is an idiot if he accepts the job and goes along with Mularky. Itll be the first time people are calling for his head before he even has a game under his belt.

Lets just be honest, Mularky with any GM is a death sentence. Its highly unlikely any coaching candidate "turns us around" in a year. Mularky isnt going 9-7 next season as coach of the titans, more than likely hell be looking at 5-6 wins, and fans will be flipping out. Its lose lose for ownership. Any other coach will not only create excitement and "possibility" but nobody is going to flip out at 5-6 wins, they will at least get another year.

Theres just no way Mularky can stay, I just dont see it as a possibility no matter what the Titans say or indicate.

At least with Mayhew interviewed the Rooney rule has been met and with Ross also. Now can hire whoever they want to. I would be doing the same with HC and get that out of the way. Then can hire the one they want and not have to wait for the Rooney rule . Just get the have too out of the way . But that's just me.

Ross/Mularkey would make me sick to my stomach but it would be very fitting for a franchise that's been so poorly run for so long. Especially when Robinson/McDaniels is a viable option. Or Ballard, or Polian.

Jon Robinson enters his second season with the Buccaneers in 2015, working as the director of player personnel. In this role, Robinson oversees all areas of the scouting department, both college and pro, including advance scouting, free agency preparation, evaluating players in the NFL and all other professional leagues, as well as assisting with college scouting and preparation for the NFL Draft.

This past spring, Robinson assisted negotiations and contract offers for the 2015 free agent class. Last season, he helped to bring in the team’s waiver claims, including Jacquies Smith, who contributed 6.5 sacks on the season.

Robinson joined the Buccaneers after 12 seasons with the New England Patriots (2002-2013), where he spent four seasons working with current Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht (2002, 2009-11). Most recently, Robinson worked as the Patriots’ director of college scouting (2009-13), helping oversee the drafting of several key contributors: wide receiver Julian Edelman (seventh round, 2009), defensive back Devin McCourty (first round, 2010), tight end Rob Gronkowski (second round, 2010), tackle Nate Solder (first round, 2011) and defensive end Chandler Jones (first round, 2012).

Prior to the 2008 season, Robinson spent two years as a regional scout (2006-07) and four years as an area scout (2002-05) for the Patriots. During his time in New England, Robinson was a part of an organization that won 10 division titles, four conference titles and two Super Bowls.

A native of Union City, Tennessee, Robinson signed with the U.S. Air Force Academy out of high school, before transferring to Southeast Missouri State, where he played for three seasons and earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education. Following his playing career, he coached at his alma mater in 1998, before moving on to coach at Nicholls State for three seasons (1999-2001), where he worked until joining New England.

Jon and his wife, Jaimie, were married in 2002 and have two daughters, Taylor Brooke and Bailey Rae. Good candidate here.

I wouldn't really say we're falling behind, considering we have no idea what our FO is thinking of right at this time and we don't know their list. Ballard is a top candidate and his interview isn't until Monday. Most of the consensual top targets for HC out there aren't interviewing until after their playoff run. The Titans are not behind, we're just impatient.

Wonder who was going first today? Polian or Robinson? You would think one of the interviews is already over by now. I hope Robinson blows them away today.
