Think the Titans need to be more forward thinking. The team has resources to make the team better. Draft picks, Cap space for free agents, have a nice young team and young quarterback to drive them in with. And what it appears a passionate fan following. With that said, I'd hate to see Ruston do any more with this team and its resources unless its collaboratively with someone I trust who also has final say.

There are a lot of good, young, sharp, aggressive execs out there waiting for there moment. Being from Portland, I also get to follow the Seagawks. Back in 2010 there was a desire to see Holmgren back as GM and coach. Allen the owner at that time went younger with a young exec from Green Bay named John Schneider. Ironically, the guy that replaced Ruston in his interim role with team. You know what followed after that.

They need to be looking at theses type of guys. Ruston, Flloyd they've had their moments. And I wouldn't allow Ruston to do anymore with the franchise. Five years, that's what he's had. You know the results.

    Jesus....

    I was just trolling.

ffs the guy has been hosting a radio show, I don't think anyone would consider hiring him to manage their team.

Sorry, bud. I have heard a lot of you on this forum say you would like to see him come back. The response was universal not intended just for you.

The draft can be more random than most people think; IF you do not know how to evaluate/scout players. We have picked people in the last 5yrs that even the draft announcers were SHOCKED to see come off the board. These announcers make every selection sound reasonable most of the time. When you hear actual shock out of them it is for good reason.

The MM pick was a slam dunk for anyone who followed what he had done in his college career. If he came out a year earlier he would of been the #1 pick in the draft. The Texans would of eaten MM up at #1 and been happy they did. He wisely chose to stay for his SR year and get more time under his belt. Most QBs with the chance to go #1 would absolutely not go back to school. This kid is smart. He knew he needed more polish to his game. I know that he has had ups & downs this year. HE is a ROOKIE. They all do. Saying he was not an obvious pick in the top of the draft is crazy. He is better statistically than any rookie QB this franchise has ever had. Does he still need development? Absolutely. What rookie, especially at QB, does not?

Webster has pissed away millions, spent top draft picks, brought in top FAs, and below average FAs in attempts to fix the oline. He STILL has not gotten it right.

Delanie Walker is the best FA he has ever brought in. He was a gem of a find IMO. However, do you turn the keys to your Porsche over to the step son because he parallel parked ONCE? Heck NO. You watch, if he does a great job; then you let him have at it. We have allowed this man to drive this team for 5yrs. How can anyone say he has done anything that made this team better; without the aide of someone else? The defense is better. Anyone who thinks that it is because of Webster is nuts. The only piece he added that is playing good is Orakpo. He said himself that LeBeau is responsible for this return to relevance. IF you want to call it that. He has 7 sacks. I would really like to see double digits before I agree with what he paid him.

Morgan is nowhere near his production from a year ago. He paid him as much as Orakpo. Morgan has never been close to double digit sacks. His career best was last yr at 6.

Sorry guys, I know that was long winded. I am just sick of the same ole same ole from this team. We have a chance to be starting fresh. New younger/better eyes in KEY places. The GM & HC must be on the same page. Webster has not LED this team. He has allowed HCs to form the identity and culture of the team. That does not work if the HC is not forming the roster. Just my opinion.

For this team to improve and be competitive; Webster must go!

It's WAY PAST time for real leadership in this franchise. If the owners are not going to lead the team; why even bother helping with the HC search? If Webster is good enough to do this; let him. I think it is a disastrous idea that will lead us down the Browns path. But hey if they want Webster, he is the GM. Let him pick his HC

The problem is not giving Webster another year. The problem is giving him another year when we are hiring a new HC.

Any GM worth hiring is going to want HIS HC. Forcing a HC on a new GM is not going to work out. You see it from time to time around the league. It never works over a year. Then a new HC is brought in.

Giving Webster another year is essentially killing MM development. Marcus has already played in 2 offenses in his 1st year. Webster stays. Hires a new HC with Amy's blessing; next year Webster FINALLY gets fired as he deserves. The we have another HC & another system. How many young QBs can survive multiple systems in their 1st 3yrs in the league???

Why stop here, Time to rehire Fisher and erect a giant middle finger statue outside Nissan Stadium to commemorate the past few years for the fans.
