I would've drafted him anyway with a 5th round pick or so. I know it would've been a risky move, but I think they could've talked him into playing.

I would just tell them, "do you really think you will be a 1st/2nd round pick after sitting out of football for a year? Also getting money now is better than not getting money now" ... I bet they would've caved.

If they don't cave, well losing a 5th round isn't that big of a deal. At least it would show the FO had some balls, and was trying to address a position that needed addressing.

I agree. You draft him and redo a performance based contract THEN he sits. Or have incentives in the rookie contract.

I know several people were irate about not addressing the line better during the draft. I wasn't one of them because I was hopeful the spin was true that we'd see better from Levitre and Schwenke coming back from injuries.

Wisenhunt has never been a builder of defenses. Hence why he brought the old man in from Pittsburgh because at least he knows his weakness. He also never built and offensive line he brought that coach with him from Pittsburgh to Arizona.

The Titans can have all the skill players they want but without addressing the front 5 they dont have a chance. Add on top of that the drafting of a small back that isnt a break away threat it snowballs. Its really the FO here that needs to be pushed out the door. These are still the oilers and the same people are running it and they sucked in Houston, except the luv you blue time.

Please for the love of all that is good and decent sale the team.

Oh I agree. I don't know what is more pathetic- how bad our OL is or the fact it's been this bad for YEARS and we still haven't fixed it.

The #1 thing on my offseason wish list was for us to sign Bryan Bulaga, but sadly he resigned with GB. Can you imagine what a difference he could make on this OL?

The way his coaches and teammates talked about him it was clear he was never leaving Green Bay

Signing Evan Mathis should be no brainer.
