Justin Hunter arrested for felonious assault

they told me id get them end of july/begininng august

 

there needs to be enough evidence for the DA to charge him with a crime...investigation finding witnesses & warrants needed for surveillance footage doesnt happen overnight always

 

Can't blame blame people in their 20's for going out to the bar.

Especially since they're loaded with money and have status as an NFL player. (Even though being a Titans is probably the equivalent as being the bassist of a popular band)

But still probably out with friends trying to pick up some strange.

I still think Hunter is done though. Didn't Whiz and the staff pretty much tell the entire team they really don't care what they do before training camp starts, but if you get in trouble you're pretty much done?

Never mind, it wasn't that harsh sounding. I found the article, the last thing he told the team before he sent them off on break was “stay out of trouble and stay in shape."

 

Hunter had this bar brawl on July 3rd and then the Tennessean is running articles on July 9th about how JH knows he can't take a break and must be constantly working blah blah.

Just pointing out that if JH was guilty of the the alleged attack, he knew about the incident while making all those statements about how he was working hard and knew he'd have a good year this year.

First time offender or not, with the revised rules it looks like Hunter is likely going to be on the commissioner's exempt list until guilt determined. If that happens then he facing a 6 game minimum suspension. I really hate the way the league continues to handle conduct issues

This is a very interesting situation. Whiz/Webster HAVE to win every possible game as they are somewhat under the gun. Will the Titans suspend Hunter or just wait for the NFL to hand down "exemption" status and remove him with pay. I suspect despite Whiz's hard-line rhetoric, he wants as many weapons available for Mariota.

 

Part of me feels that the staff doesn't really view Hunter as a weapon.

You could argue they drafted his replacement in DGB. They signed 2 FA WRs w/ a good amount of experience and players who before all this could potentially take snaps away from him.

Also during camp I heard them talk more about players like Rico Richardson more than they did Hunter.

For all I know, this could be a sigh of relief from the staff.

 

In don't think we should worry bout hunters suspension... Dudes gonna spend a few years with Aaron Hernandez.
