Part of me wants to start a pool over when we will first read the "season over" post. It could come as early as next week LOL....just like Christmas, it seems to start earlier every year.

Before the season I said we will be 1-3 to 2-2 after the first four games. We are still learning the 3-4, and unfortunately, even after our players learn it, we do not have all of the right parts for it IMO (this season). I have the same opinions now.

Locker's play yesterday was a big disappointment, and the McCourty injury is very concerning if it results in a prolonged absence. Right now, however, I am still holding that we are in the 8-8 to 9-7 range for the year. I do think that we have a good coaching staff in place, and are heading in the right direction.

Does anybody know why Greene didn't play at all in the second half?

My guess is that we were down 16-0 at halftime, gave McCluster his first looks in the backfield to start the second half (resulting in 10 points on two drives), then promptly gave those ten points back, forcing us to play catchup for the rest of the game.

Now, do I have an answer for why he did not get more looks in the first half? No, outside of the fact that our O spent very little time on the field in the first half. However, we knew what we were getting with Whis (pass first O), and that is what I seem to remember alot of us (me included, admittedly) wanting at the time.

Bottom line is that if Locker would have hit anything but the ground with his passes in the first half we would have probably seen quite a bit more of Greene IMO. When doing little more than three and outs no one gets alot of looks.

I agree about the fans at the stadium.

A lot of people are just lifeless there. And many don't have the bravado to give it to opposing team's fans and allow them to do whatever they want.

    Not in my section.

It was frustrating being the only one in the bathroom standing up to Cowboy's fans talking mad cash sh*t. You don't let somebody else disrespect your house. Ever.

I'm not too worried about the fans though. They'll come. I don't want the fairweather ones anyways. I'd rather keep doing my thing and maybe see if the culture spreads. If I stand up to an opposing fan, maybe another fan will do it. And another. And another.

    Until we're freaking Philly.

I said this earlier in the week and I got bashed. It looked just like the Bears game when I went to it and we got spanked.

I'm glad this thread was made. It does suck are fans are BEING out Number and lame at the games.

Winning games would change this but we haven't won nothing Since 08?

This is on the team not the fans

I guess a lot of our fans aren't all that loyal. I would have thought that the new staff and seemingly new attitude of the team would have meant more season ticket holders going to the home opener rather than selling their tickets. Guess not.

Yesterdays loss looked nothing like that Bears game from 2012. What 5 turnovers did we hand them yesterday? At what point yesterday where we down 24-0?

The only comparison was the opposing fans getting loud.

I guess they were right for selling their tickets. because the game was not worth the time. money, and effort spent to get there.
