I'm generally not the most optimistic fan, especially of this team. But man, I sure do like the direction Webster is taking this team. Dedication to fixing our offensive line (Levitre, Schwenke, Warmack, Lewan, Oher). Dedication to filling out our defense (Pollard, Woodyard, Phillips, DaQuan Jones), dedication to bringing in offensive weapons and playmakers (Walker, Wright, McCluster, Bishop Sankey, Hunter). Everyone I just named was added to our team in the past 2 offseasons. IDK how anyone could be upset with anything we've done.

We didn't have the best draft, but I am still happy with it. I really trust Ruston. He's definitely taking us in the right direction. All we need is a reliable qb and we are instant contenders.

Totally agree CK! Unlike Reinfeldt, Webster has a clear direction of where he wants to take this team to and is following through on getting us there. The Lewan pick might not have been the sexiest one we could have made but it is a great one. Roos is in the final year of his deal and his play has slipped, that has been a situation that we knew was coming. And the most important part in all that is that Ruston was active enough in FA that we could afford to go OL in the 1st.

We are in much better shape under Webster and I believe he's got what it takes to give Whisenhunt the personnel he needs to be most successful. The future is bright and I can't wait for the season to kick off.

Not to be a hater, because I typically show approval and am appreciative of any Titan move. But for arguments sake I just wanted to point out that out of the list of players you named really only Wright and Pollard are the playmakers. Case can be made that Schwenke and Walker did great, but the other players he brought in haven't shown their worth.

    Sorry

Well...Justin Hunter had 17 ypc and Warmack played every snap as a rookie. Showed their worth? Most of those guyshaven't played a single game. I'm talking about the obvious direction. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see what they're trying to do here. Bringing in guys on both sides of the ball that are known for versatility, bringing in more 3-4 pieces, and solidifying the line and running game.

A case can be made for Walker? He is hands down the best TE we've had since Wycheck. Kendall Wright and Bernard Pollard are in the upper ranks of their respective positions, sure. But my point was that the direction is clear. Not that all those dudes are studs. And don't dismiss Wesley Woodyard and Shaun Phillips. Those are two big time free agent signings who will come in and start. Much like Pollard was last year.

He's fixing positions that had bad players occupying them. That's what he's supposed to do. Whether he's actually replacing the bad guys with guys who can play remains to be seen.
