I don't want Whisenhunt as HC at all, but I think he's a fine OC and they are stupid for wanting him gone.

This is his first season with them and LT is gone and Gates is washed up, so they certainly can't be blaming him.

Blame Schottenheimer, Norv, and the owner/GM, not Whisenhunt.

He's by no means a sexy hire, but he's by far the best candidate of the crop.

His resume is so much better than Quinn's:

    2 Superbowls (OC and HC)
1 Superbowl win (OC for Steelers)
    2 Division Titles
    4-2 Playoff Record
18 years of NFL coaching experience

I still think Whisenhunt's agent put more out there about the Titans here lately because he can drive his price up for the Lions. Plus as a Titans fan, we always finish second lol (SB, Manning,)

I just think Whisenhunt would bring or put together a better staff. Russ Grimm is a top o-line coach and kevin Butler or Ray Horton would be great DC. Again I am ok with quinn but I want no part of Kyle Shannahan for anything! Either way we are going to be better off with the new guy over Munch!

I was never too high on Quinn, but I think I'm changing my tune. We could do with a top defense and our personnel matches up pretty well with the hawks. (obviously they have more talent, butour size matches up with their system) I would not not be upset with either, but I'm leaning towards Quinn right now if he can find us a decent OC and QB.

    Detroit always finishes last.

Wyatt tweeted a good point earlier today that the Lions still have around ~$12 million left to pay Schwartz if he doesn't coach this year and the titans would only owe Munch ~$3 million. I never doubted the Titans have higher leverage in terms of money and location.
