John Harbaugh and Bill Cower were special teams coaches when hired as head coaches. Not comparing him to those two. Just saying there is precedent.

Ditka won a Super Bowl on Buddy Ryan's back. And nothing else. Parcells was cranky but not a crazy spaz.

    And Belichick, too.

As he said, a great way to learn the game of football. You have to be able to teach offensive and defensive players to come together and play special teams effectively, so you have to understand nearly every position to be able to do that.

Hue Jackson is officially the new OC of Cincinnati and according to Jim Wyatt, Zimmer is heading back to Cincinnati at 5 tonight. Hope he leaves with an offer.

Any ideas on how Zimmer would have as his OC

Zimmer probably go to Minnesota . I like him but not sure how he fits in cohesion with Webster.

I'm having a really hard time getting excited about Quinn. Seems like he's benefited from being with the Seahawks much more than the team has benefited from him.

Thank goodness Gruden is off the market, though.
