how many people are gonna avoid this message board if Locker comes out and completes 2 or 3 passes of 40 + yards

I would be glad to come and apologize if that happened. It won't though, so no worries.

i know locker can do it, it's up to the coaching staff to let him do it though instead of being so conservative

The Titans say they plan to throw deep saturday night, if the Bengals defense allows them to.

Always a big if in there somewhere. We shall see

CJ is hot right now, the box will be loaded, the safetys will be closer, the deep ball should be in the game plan.

Please, go for the deep ball, and please do so against Kirkpatrick. I want to see the guy get some more work...

Hey, if completing short passes and letting your guys get YAC is what it takes, then I am all for it ... I don't expect, or need to see Locker come out and be Tom Brady this year. I think he should take more of the Joe Flacco route early in his career. Rely on a strong running game, take what the D gives you and take the occasional shots when the oppurtunity presents itself.

We have enough playmakers on this team that Jake doesn't have to put everything on his shoulders, and I think he can grow into the role and take on more of the responsiblity as he progresses in his career. Nothing wrong with developing a QB like that IMO.

As for this game though ... sure take some shots down field. Its preseason, so might as well try everything and see what works and what doesn't. If Jake completes a lot of deep balls, great. If he doesn't complete any, then oh well ... this is still preseason so you can't read too much into these games. Basically I just want to see the offense go out there and sustain a couple of drives. Show some chemistry to matter what that chemistry looks like (deep balls, running game, short passes, etc) as long as we are moving the chains
