We didn't get hosed. The point value of the picks were pretty much even. It was a lot, but that's expected when moving up 7 spots in the 1st. If JR got his guy who he feels will play at RT for 8-10 years, then it was worth the price.

Bottom line he got the player he wanted. You make the move to get your guy. So glad we moved up for Conklin and not Tunsil. And give Robinson credit, he went after the type of players he said he was wanting. He can trade down in 1st round next year and get the second back. It's all about getting the right type of players. We needed a culture change . So change outlook of which players are drafted . Which players are brought in in free agency. We had a losing attitude. Losing culture. Looks like we on the right road to changing that . Besides picks are just picks as we have seen with Webster. Main thing is getting the right players. Titan Up.

Conklin has been very consistent in college, he's an instant upgrade at RT, that SHOULD give them all a boost in play..

Or it could blow up in Warmacks face. The only reason Warmack isnt rated worse is because by seasons end he's the only guy still standing and teams just pick on our 3rd string Tackles/Centers and he suddenly looks ok since hes not being targeted... Every year he saves his ass with 4 good games.. And by good I mean lucking out and not being picked on..

Everyone talking about taking Decker at 15.. If Conklin goes 10 to Giants, which he would have, Lions easily jump us at 14 to take the last remaining 1st round OT on the board.

Be interesting to see lewan and Conklin competing for LT. What if Conklin outplays Lewan? Read where Conklin will get reps in case Lewan got hurt.

Not to beat a dead horse, but Conklin isn't athletic enough to play the edge. I'm sticking with us moving him inside.

It's so funny to hear....Dude was a monster in College...could use a bit of coaching on the pass protecting etc...but people acting like Decker was as much of a stud are on that crack rock. Decker didn't run block anywhere near as good as Conklin, nor is he as athletic getting downfield, which is HUGE when Mariota is your QB. Just checkout the draft profiles on NFL.com....Decker was not on the same level. I also agree that they got their guy and couldn't risk not trading up, or they are left with friggin Spriggs or Efedi. People would have lost their minds on here...Can't win
