I could see him more as a 3-4 DE. Move Autry to the middle and line up Landry, Basham, Autry, Simmons, Dupree and ATTACK!

I would put Simmons in the middle with Autry and Basham as the 3-4 DEs.

We rarely play 3 man fronts in pass rush situations.

So Basham would be on the bench or trying to chase Tyreek Hill on a crossing pattern or something.

According to Grinding the Mocks, OLB Azeez Ojulari is the most mocked player to the Titans in the 1st over the past month by a wide margin.

I just don't see it with Ojulari. I've watched him over and over trying to make myself like him, but he just seems like just another guy (I'm talking about as a 1st rounder).

Are there any mid round pass rushers you guys like?

Shaka Toney from Penn St is a mid rnd guy I like...He was stuck behind some pretty solid talent at DE, but when he got his chances he produced... 28 TFL and 20 sacks in his 4 yr career.

Hamilcar Rashed from Oregon State is a later rnd guy I like...He had 14 sacks his junior yr and then 0 sacks this yr during the late starting Pac-12 season. He needs major work on his rush moves and use of hands, but he is very instinctual in terms of reading and reacting to read option type plays and he has a good motor.

I like Ojularis explosion off the snap and relentless pursuit. He would be an awesome addition to our pass rush.

Joe Tryon is growing on me. He has a tremendous first step/ ability to time up the snap. I like that he played all over the front at UW....standup edge rusher RT and LT side, DE in the 3-4, and even over the center sometimes...he looks natural when asked to drop into coverage too.

I think this edge class is quite deep just no Super stud Chase Young types

Yea I'm not sure what pickle juice these guys are drinking but it looks like we will go more to a 4-3 and use a 4 man front 60% or more of the time even as a 3-4 team. Every year it is the same. You tell them 1000 times and they still think this is a 3-4 team against the pass. We might not hardly use a NT (probably a 4-3 under) at all and the way I see it Autry was brought in to start at strong side DE. Dupree will play weak side and Landry will be used more in passing scenarios with Autry possibly moving to a 3. We brought Jim Schwartz in as a defensive advisor and he has never run a 3-4 in his life.
