Nice deflection since it doesn’t fit the mythical narrative that backups always torch us.

No, I never take Ls easy. Why would ask that stupid question? Just let it go. Attacking me doesn’t prove your case about how bad this team is against backups.

You still mad about losses from 1998? If you are I recommend you see someone and get some help.

When someone makes those stupid remarks about how this team always does this or that I’m going to call BS if I don’t agree. We don’t always get torched by backup QBs and I proved it. Refute that or stay out of it. But don’t come at me with I take Ls easy crap.

I guess I remember the wrong QB but it was Cleveland, on a couple of occasions

Probably so.. the Titans have played some stinker games against subpar competition but the narrative was specifically backup QBs. It’s just a myth. I’m not disputing the Titans have lost to teams they shouldn’t have. I’m disputing that backup QBs always “ torch “ them.

Just hit him with a bunch of "boring" ratings. That his defense mechanism.

Yes. It sucks to lose to backups, and it's happened. It also sucks to lose to bad teams that you shouldn't lose to, and that's happened.

We've also won games with our backup and have beaten teams that we should have lost to. It's called sports. It's competition. That's the point. What the heck are people crying about? Our chances of beating the Colts improve with Eason under center. We'll see what happens.

    @TitanMark

Did a search going back to 1999 on all backup QBs the titans played against.
To preface, there were other games against QB that became backups but if they were the scheduled starter for a particular year, I neglected that game (ex: Brian hoyer on Cle, he was planned starter before Manziel). Also added a few games that a backup came in appx half way through the game or earlier.

By all means, everyone is free to check my memory and what I reviewed over that many games, could have missed some.

That’s every game I can see with a backup (not THAT year’s team starter) that Tennessee has gone against.
Overall record: I’m counting 44-18. I can see where reputation could be built from 2014-2016 when they lost 5 in a row.

    Some pretty modest numbers too.
    8 300 yd QBs.
    58 passing TD which is <1 /game.

    We’ve played 24 teams against a backup QB, most common are Hou (7), Ind (6), Jax/Balt/clev (5), Mia/ Pit/ Min/ Chi/ ARZ (3).

    Most common backup QB:
    sage Rosenfels/Anthony Wright/Cody Kessler (3),
    Damon Huard/Doug Peterson/josh Mccown/Ken Dorsey/Brodie Croyle/Trent Edwards/Shaun hill/jacoby Brissett (2).

Ramsey would be a case of actual starter that ended up not being very good. He wasn’t “the backup” when Tennessee played him.

Josh Johnson was pedestrian as a redskin in the 1 game he played Tennessee.
    13/23 153 yards, 1 TD/2 INT.

Brissett played ok (I honestly thought he was good enough to keep the starting job before signing rivers) but lost to Tennessee both games coming in as backup.

Burrow definitely played well as we should expect from a #1 overall pick and against a weak d. Above, I didn’t list rookies, only guys that were backups.

The No Flag Films guy just dropped his new filmroom over on Patreon breaking down the Seahawks game. Really detailed film analysis. Long and the short of it was Chris Jackson, Pruit, Tanny, Henry, Fulton, Landry, Sambrailo and Quesenberry all played remarkably well.
Swaim, Macdougald and Molden were absolutely awful and nearly cost us the game numerous times.
