Three are a number of songs from the past which were very popular, and could "never" be made today :tj: because the narrowing of the Overton Window will not allow for it. In theory they could be made today, but the would illicit major backlash.

Maybe if we get enough songs posted we could turn this into a "Wars" situation.

    Some for consideration:

    Holiday in Cambodia

Money for Nothing (which some people tried to get banned from radio

    Rock the Casabah

Where the Hood At (would probably get DMX charged with a hate crime today)

Under My Thumb (The Stones have several songs that would qualify)

You probably know the Dire Straits and Clash songs if you listen to the. Rock the Casbah was the only mainstream hit the Clash had, it paid their bills lol.
