So I recently got Knack for the PS4 (add me if you have one, username is Preditan), and a couple of hours into the game it has me attached. It reminds me a lot of what the ratchet and clank series was to the ps2/ps3. I was worried at first after reading many negative reviews about Knack, but now that I have finally got my hands on it, it is a must-have for the ps4. Anyone who liked the ratchet and clank series will fall in love with this one. I will be anxious to see how the 2-player co-op is like. The overall feel of Knack is very festive, fun, relaxing and yet intense. The whole concept of this character is very cool, the idea that he can get bigger and bigger every time you collect "relics" (which are those little particles he is made of). From a level-design point of view, it does a great job of keeping you engaged from checkpoint-to-checkpoint. Texturing is good, the modeling is detailed enough for a game like this, and the lighting is spot-on. Mark Cerny did a great job directing this game. Props to him. Here are a few images from my ps4 that I captured (loving the share button). The world is amazing. Beautiful scenery.
I had one preordered but canceled it. Then my brother told me my mom bought all her boys a PS4 for Christmas. So I guess I'll have one on Wednesday
Yeah not a whole lot right now which is also a good reason to wait. Might get a price drop at some point.
