I used the Draftek top 150 for this.....just an easy site to cull info from...so this is the position and number of players ranked in the top 150

    WR- 21
    CB- 17
    DL 3 and 5 tech- 16
    Edge- 14
    OT-14
    OG- 11
    S- 11
    RB- 9
    OLB- 9
    ILB- 8
    QB- 8
    TE- 7
    C- 6

So if you look at those numbers you know that unless a WR that you have rated way higher than any other player falls to us that we will wait for value later in the draft.

Lots of people have us taking an OT in the 1st...I'm not a fan of drafting RTs in the 1st rnd and it is a little to early to be thinking about drafting Lewan's replacement....so again unless a guy you have rated really high falls I'm passing on taking a RT in the 1st

Nice to know that CB is pretty deep given that we currently are lacking in depth and a starting NB...certainly could be a position I see us taking in the 1st.

DL 3 and 5 technique is fairly loaded as well....looking for a Casey replacement...most of these guys are rated mid 2nd to 3rd rnd...not much top end talent here

Edge ...certainly is a need but only 3 guys given 1st rnd grades ( Young 1, Chaisson 12 and Gross-Matos 19) the next one is Okwara rated 55....so that tells you that the 3rd rnd is loaded with edge guys....unless one falls in the 1st then just wait till the 3rd to grab you one

So looking at this data I would love to trade out of the 1st for a 2nd and a 3rd....with those 4 picks I'd go CB, OT, Edge, DL ....help the trenches out and get guys to help defend the pass

I really think it depends who is sitting there and what we do before the draft. Remember, we still have what, 3 weeks? And then obviously after the draft to make moves. I feel like we go DL,RB, or CB in the first. I saw one mock have us taking Grant Delpit (S) at 29. Now that would be interesting if the plan on moving Krukshank to slot etc.

I like the idea of trading back to pick up some day 2 picks. This draft is deep in some positions we could use.

I like the idea too. But who is going to want to trade up?

You never know who will fall to 29 that another team had rated way higher.

Indy might want to trade back into Rd 1 after trading their 1 away for Buckner

The depth of this wr group is crazy....

I really think we need to add another speed guy.

Jalen Reagor is dynamic more of a slot receiver who could move outside and also a punt returner
Quez Watkins is a speedy string bean type whose speed really shows up watching film
Denzel Mims is another decent size guy with speed
Darnell Moody from Tulane is another slot type burner given his size
Devin Duvernay from Texas also has a nice set of wheels

I dont want to watch WRs because that would spell bad news for Corey Davis, and I just think hes got baby Andre Johnson in him waiting to come out.

Great list. I especially love Denzel Mims & Jalen Raeger. Would be thrilled to add either of those guys. Behind Lamb and Jeudy (who wont be available to us), those are my next 2 guys.
