All I really want are lounge type places that aren't dead by 2am and don't have blaring honky-tonk garbage by fake cowboys that'll be on CMT within a few months.

tons of lounges and by default they are as alive as the people occupying the booths.

tons of strip clubs that are definatly alive at 0200

So tell me where/which ones?... I always get this BS "There's tons to do!" garbage, yet no one can ever name anything.

Back porch, glass of bourbon, cigarettes,meat on the grill and a few good friends.

Those are the best times.

 

Seriously though, I guess I just don't see the big deal about there needing to be a ton of options after 2 a.m. There's plenty to do pre-2 a.m. And maybe I just got old. But I'm not really interested in mingling with most of the people that are out after 2 a.m. anyway.

It sounds like you mainly just don't like the country/honky-tonk aspect of the city (I'm not a big fan either). But it is what it is. This is (Country) Music City so of course most of the bars are going to be blaring country music.

 

Nashville is full of music.

It isn't just country. I don't particularly like that fake pop country crap that dominates the airwaves either but still have a good time.
