    I think we're just going to sign bench players now and save some of our more pressing needs for the draft (OG, DE, WR).

    So after the Ropatuati, still gotta learn to spell it, according to Wyatt, we have 6-7 million left to spend. This also with Amano still on the roster. Figure we have 8-9 if we need. 4.5 million for draft picks, which I'm not sure has already been taken out or not, leaves us around 5 million. I would like us to still sign a vet corner. Quinton Jammer is a great zone corner that shouldn't be too.expensive. Looks like we have the funds to sign one more player if needed. Who do you want to sign?

    I doubt we attack FA much more. We already went cray. We just need to have the best draft in the last decade.

    We should also cut Hawkins, combining with Amano we'll have an additional 2.7 mil to spend.

    I'm still praying on a vet CB... alot of the vet players wait until after the draft before signing with a team. They wanna see what teams offer playing time after the draft.

    I'm pretty sure we're out of money, where did Wyatt say this? We have enough money for our rookies and that's it. Hopefully we can cut Amano/Hawkins and free up another $2-$3mil for a vet CB.

    Our math has probably been wrong. I've notcied most of these lastest deals have been small base salaries and large signing bonuses, ala Tom Brady, that dont count against the cap. So the yearly average isn't what is against the cap. Kinda how Dumervil is only counting 2.5 mill against the cap for the Ravens, he had a big bonus. Titans have more than we think. I quoted Wyatt from his article in the Tennessean about Ropatutia.

    Exactly, they have been structuring these deals and manipulating contracts in our favor. Yearly salary and cap hit are completely independent. Vin Marino dictates these players salaries and cap hits. He's not just going to back us into a corner.
